Sorry for the glare in this photo – I didn’t dare go into this bakery for fear of not being able to carry everything back to the apartment!A cheesemonger on rue de Bretagne had not only fabulous, perfectly aged cheeses but also this swell “vache sac” reusable shopping bag. I can just imagine the envy in the eyes of my fellow shoppers at Linden Hills Coop when I get home! (Hey, maybe I'll even bring it with me to Surdyk's cheese shop.)
